The focus for this workout is upper abdominal strength. We'll work through a series of exercises to strengthen your upper abs, as well as adding in some shoulder bridging / glute work to balance out your workout. The benefit of working your upper abs includes increased upper body control. It's important to remember that your upper abs are just one component of the Pilates "powerhouse" - the entirety of muscles which help you maintain your posture / stance on stage.
