Weather still not quite warm enough to go out for swim?! Well don’t worry, because you can always go SWIMMING in Pilates! This simple, yet challenging exercise from the classical Pilates repertoire & our "Miniseries" category is a great way to focus on back length & strength, something many Irish dancers neglect.
[Technique Tip: think about reaching your arms & legs out long as you lift up off the mat, and be careful not to compress your low back. Breath deeply as you pump your arms & legs, similar to how we move through The Hundred]
Level: Basics
What You Need: Mat
Exercise Credit: Classical Pilates
